"Not So Still Life II" Threadpainted with YLI cotton
variegated threads on hand dyed osnaburg. Other
techniques include machine piecing  and quilted
with a machine tack technique.
"Red Onion"    Threadpainted with variegated cotton threads. Other
techniques include reverse applique, fused raw edge applique,
machine piecing and quilting, hand stitching.
"Big Red Onion"  threadpainted
with variegated cotton threads on
osnaburg. This was a small study
for the larger version of red onion.
"My Big Fat Greek Still Life"   Is
entirely threadpainted with variegated
cotton threads on a piece of purchased
hand dye fabric. This was fun to do.
"Not So Still Life" is
threadpainted on my handpainted
linen. This work is not quilted.
"Peach" 4"x4" is threadpainted
on threadpainted fabric. The green
background is a stitched grid that
was made over water soluble
material. The peach was stitched
on this. Variegated cotton threads.
"Have a Spot" okay not a fruit or
veggie, but you must drink
something. Tea cup is
threadpainted on linen.
Background marks made with color
pencils.
"Fancy Pear"  is threadpainted
with variegated cotton thread. The
background is stitched in metal
thread and beaded.
